Food Made the Way It Was Meant To Be
Introducing Our Visionary Founders
Why We Built MaâBeti Pickles
MaâBeti Pickles did not begin as a business idea. It began as a realisation.
A realisation that the food we grew up eatingâthe kind made by our mothers and grandmothersâwas never ordinary. It was thoughtful, intuitive, and deeply functional. Recipes were not written down, yet they were precise. Methods were slow, yet they endured. And most importantly, this knowledge lived quietly within homes, at risk of disappearing with each passing generation.
We built MaâBeti Pickles to protect that knowledge.
Growing up, food was not just about taste. It was about balance, digestion, seasonality, and care. Pickles were made with intentionâingredients were sourced carefully, cooked patiently, dried completely, and preserved to last. There were no shortcuts, because the body mattered more than speed.
Over time, we saw these traditions being replaced by convenience and excess. What once nourished became performative. What once healed became hurried.
MaâBeti Pickles is our response to that shift.
Every jar we make follows the same principles we learned at home: respect the ingredient, trust the process, and never rush what needs time. From medicinal vegetarian pickles to heirloom mutton pickles, our food is made slowly, responsibly, and with deep awareness of where it comes from and who it is for.
The name MaâBeti is not symbolicâit is literal.
It represents continuity. A passing of wisdom from one generation to the next. A way of cooking that values patience, memory, and care.
We didnât build MaâBeti Pickles to scale fast. We built it to stand the test of time.
From our home to your tableâ this is food made with lineage, intention, and love.
